30-DAY PHONE BREAKUP COURSE

Keep what you love about your phone and eliminate what you don’t!

I’m Catherine Price, award-winning science journalist and bestselling author of How to Break Up with Your Phone. I’ve adapted my book into this 30-Day Phone Breakup text message course because... where better to learn how to break up with your phone than ON YOUR PHONE!?

My course takes a proven approach that’s grounded in science. It will free you from phone obsession and empower you to have a productive — not compulsive — relationship with your phone. Sign up now, and every day you'll receive a voice message from me, delivered via SMS text message, with a daily assignment telling you exactly what to do, plus interactive prompts to keep you on track. It’s easy and you can do it at my pace — or yours.

Meet Your Coach

I’m Catherine Price, an award-winning health and science journalist, speaker, founder of Screen/Life Balance, and bestselling author of books including How to Break Up With Your Phone: The 30-Day Plan to Take Back Your Life, The Power of Fun: How to Feel Alive Again, and Vitamania: How Vitamins Revolutionized the Way We Think About Food. My journalistic work has been featured in publications including The Best American Science Writing, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Slate, and Popular Science, and my TED talk on fun was the 2nd most viewed for all of 2022.

I created the Phone Breakup Course as a way to make the 30-day plan in How to Break Up With Your Phone even more accessible, by delivering its steps in bite-sized pieces, on your phone. My goal is to help people, including myself, create healthier relationships with their devices and get back to what really matters to them. Breaking up with my own phone has changed my own life for the better, and I’m confident it will do the same for you.
